Puppy 1:

This class is for young puppy’s 10-20 weeks of age.

Puppy 1 is a continuation of the Preschool Puppy class (it can also be taken without having taken preschool). We continue to work on appropriate socialization and proper play with other puppy’s. Along with that we will cover the typical puppy challenges (potty training, mouthing, jumping up). Body handling and grooming skills to help your puppy feel comfortable and safe when being handled. In addition to continuing work on focus, settle and recall we will begin on basic manner skills. Sit, down, drop, stay, touch and leave it.

50 minutes per session. Class runs 5 weeks, cost is $210. Classes held in Santa Clara Ca.

Puppy 2:

This class is for puppy’s who have completed puppy 1 class (Up to 6 months old).

Puppy 2 is a continuation of puppy level 1 classes. In addition to building on the cues your puppy has already learned, we will add in more distractions and strengthen those behaviors. We will begin working on better impulse control and add on leash manners (loose leash walking), build a stronger recall. Stay, go to place, touch, wait, drop it and leave it will also be covered.

Dog Manners 1:

This class is for dogs 6 months and older.

*Please note this class is not appropriate for dogs who are reactive to other dogs or people while on leash (bark, pull, lunge, growl).

Dog Manners 1 is for any dog who needs the basics on manners. We work on some basic obedience behaviors - sit, down, stay, recall, leave it, drop. Additionally we address jumping up and how to manage and change that, leash manners and outlets for your dogs energy and mental needs. We will practice some husbandry and grooming behaviors with your dog so you have a starting point for making a positive association to being handled by people.

50 minutes per session. Class runs 5 weeks, cost is $210. Classes held in Santa Clara Ca.

Doggy Manner 2:

This class is for dogs who have completed Dog Manners 1 class.
